Where real conversations are met with COMPASSION, not judgement.
Welcome to a space where seeking therapy isn't failure, but a sign of strength. Asking for help is not weakness—it's the first step toward personal growth.
Let’s embrace the journey together.
Sara Malcom, L.A.C.
Hi, my name is Sara. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor in Arizona and Iowa. I work with men and women who are seeking therapy for the first time. I understand that going to therapy can feel intimidating, and it’s my mission to normalize talking about mental health and create a comfortable space for you to express yourself and feel heard.
I will help you confront difficult issues in your life with grace and compassion. I am passionate about coming alongside people stuck in shame and guilt and helping them see what healing can look like in their lives. I use a range of therapeutic tools, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to explore the root causes of your struggles, facilitate healing, and find long-term solutions.
My training includes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR. I work with individuals struggling with issues related to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, eating disorders, suicidal ideations, codependency, people-pleasing, and relationship issues.
If a client chooses, I also work from a faith-based perspective and will integrate faith into the therapy process.
